Failure Analysis

Water Management Services Inc. performs damage assessments of water based heating and cooling systems (boilers, chillers, heat exchangers, cooling towers, etc.) involving corrosion, deposition or scaling, fouling and carryover.

Damage assessments may require visual inspection of equipment, chemistry reviews, discussions with personnel, and/or review of nondestructive and destructive testing (failure analyses) results. Failure analysis may be performed on-site or in our laboratory.

Based on damage assessment findings, recommended corrective action is provided and implemented.

The following analytical services are available: metallurgical examinations and failure analysis; deposit density or deposit weight analysis; deposit composition analyses; analysis of water, chemical cleaning solutions; corrosion coupon preparation and processing.

Based on our assessments and evaluation, Water Management Services Inc. will make recommendations and implement appropriate corrective action solutions based on the clients budget and objectives.
